It seems our days are full of distractions. A friend of ours (who's also a pastor) said recently that our busyness is sometimes a sign of anxiety - maybe we're afraid to say no because we're anxious about what other people will think of us, or over-commit our kids because we're anxious about their future. But this scripture reminds us to fix our gaze on what's ahead, to give careful thought to our next steps... perhaps a good reminder for busy days ahead?
"Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze directly before you.
Give careful thought to the paths for your feet
and be steadfast in all your ways."
*An apology to my iphone & ipad friends - looks like you need flash to view/print the prayer card, so be sure to check back when you can get to your computer.
In this blog, I demonstrate some of the prayer vinyasas that I’ve taught in class. A vinyasa is a sequence of poses, so a prayer vinyasa is a sequence of poses coordinated with a prayer or verse of scripture. It’s my hope that these vinyasas will provide an opportunity for you to draw close to God and listen for the voice of the Divine within you...
